July Featured Artist:

July 1 – July 30:  Wilmington Art Association Gallery, Jan Lewis is the Featured Artist with an exhibit of her fabric art.  Vibrant color combinations blended with more subtle hues reflect Jan’s own style as a colorist. A unique dimension emerges from each piece offering the viewer an exciting experience as the eye moves through the fibers. Jan will be joined by a special events show featuring photography and digital art from some of The Wilmington Art Association members who use the camera to create their art. There will also be an exhibit of pillows of all different shapes and sizes that have been created by our members. All of this beautiful and unique art will be on display from during July and all items will be on sale to the public. July Opening Reception:

July 13th: Join us at the Wilmington Art Association Gallery for the opening reception for Jan Lewis’ exhibit of fabric art. Jan attended East Carolina University, School of Art and made her focus textiles and experimentation with texture using fibers and various materials. Vibrant color combinations blended with more subtle hues reflect Jan’s own style as a colorist. A unique dimension emerges from each piece offering the viewer an exciting experience as the eye moves through the fibers.  It is amazing what she can do with fabric, you have to see this exhibit!  Jan’s beautiful and unique art will be on display from July 1 through July 30 and all items will be on sale to the public.
